Sunday - a lovely day in Angel Studios with a host of fine musicians recording the late Ian Hughes' ballet - The Mousehole Cat Ballet. Ian was a great orchestrator and arranger who, very sadly, died last year - at his prime. Chris Egan and Dave White put together a fine orchestra - Chris Conducting - and we recorded this beautiful piece - 40 mins long - over the morning and afternoon sessions. It will be released shortly to raise money for charity. Musically it is extremely accessible - it will be a fine tribute to a wonderful musician. More to follow when it is released etc....
Then evening flight to New York and....BBC Radio 2 Voice Of Musical Theatre auditions - a hectic week - started in New York on Monday, Tuesday - then a late 'red eye' flight back to carry on London auditions Wed, Thurs and Fri - also reviewed other DVD and Video submissions. All well - I think we have picked a good group of people.............Competition proper starts on 2nd April in Cardiff..........Meantime - next week is - 'Lost In Music" - a pilot BBC TV show - and sorting out the music for the launch ceremony in Southampton of P&O's new flagship, The Arcadia.

Loveshack receiving really good audience reactions....
