Second week of LoveShack - really going well. Not only a terrific cast but also the whole Team thing is great. With Chris Egan orchestrating and Steve Owens as MD I feel absolutely secure with my Music Dept!

I have been asked to MD a new Graham Norton TV show - filming on 14th and 15th Feb at the Beeb....More to follow - when I know more!!

A long time ago I had a small hankering to find out about playing the saw - my wife, Natalie, had a Grandfather who played and I now have his old saw - I bought a cello bow too.........So...I can now make the thing sing. Natalie is buying me a 'dedicated' musical saw from Roberts and Lee in Enfield. I spoke to Mr Roberts yesterday and the company has been making saws since c1904 - he had nearly finished my saw!

The saw makes a beautiful and haunting sound - I will post a sound bite when I feel that my playing is good enough!!
